There was something about this space at Strawberryhill House that already felt a little unreal — like stepping into another time.

We leaned into that.

Built with nostalgic fabrics, soft florals, and layered projections. A portal — not fully past, not fully present. Somewhere in between. Quiet, a bit eerie, but beautiful.

The Rare Rabbit Hat for the Master of The Hunt Ball

I began with a few sketches to figure out the shape and what I’d need material wise. Built the base using chicken wire — it holds the structure and you shape it as you go.

The ears and eyes are key to the expression. it can feel more alert or softer.

Then came paper mâché. The longest part.
Layering pieces, building it up slowly, filling it out with newspaper inside to keep the form.

Next is fabrics and decor materials. Trying things, swapping things out, seeing what actually works together - following that gut feeling, trying to ignore the panic, but when it’s right you know it... it starts coming together — choosing textures, adding details, figuring out the final look. Fur or no fur, that was the question...

We created a character inspired by the water nymphs of old.

Lorelei, the water nymph, rescues the guest that got drunk too early, the one the other guests are surveying with contempt as he trips into the pool. She pulls him up from the deepend and they dance before he carries her away wanting her for himself...

In most cases, a water nymph saving a man is a narrative about her exercising her power over life and death, often with a hint of romantic obsession or a cautionary tale about respecting the water.

It was a very special wedding ❤️

PART 1

This project brings together old paintings with modern mask filters created from real textures of feathers and fabrics.

All the works show women in different roles over centuries.

The Portrait of Madame Matisse — the green line showing the complexity of her personality. A mask as a visual and emotional divider. We echo it.

The Primavera — a mysterious and idealised symbol of a woman. The mask has that power to take away any understanding of who she might really be.

A Bar at the Folies-Bergère — a working woman, visible but not really seen.

Different centuries, different roles interpreted by different artists. All seem to suit this mask, maybe I’ll call it timeless.

This story inspired me to create this character as a tribute to its spirit 🐃

A reflection on this year — 2025 — as it comes to an end. The year Running Man was originally set and was the future...

It began in Brazil. Not as a holiday, but as a reset. A tribal gathering, a connection to a lost era, my first experience with ayahuasca, wonderful encounter with a medicine man and much more. It was the first step into the year and it shaped much that followed.

I dismantled what no longer fit. Let go of the warehouse. Extended the house. Built a studio. Reorganised life and settled into a new rythmn. Usual travel — Prague, Morocco, Ibiza, Paris...
Along the way, some friendships recalibrated and new ones formed. I’m forever grateful to my core team and so excited to be expanding!

Work and life flowed into each other. Oxford Street Future Stores kicked off as we took over central London; Glastonbury Glasses; YouTuber workshops; Rocked it at Rock Oyster; Replenished some good vibes at Good Vibrations.

I supported Pat’s flamenco project; Created Twickapotamus with Folly Loaded crew; I had some kittens — in both senses! And Creative pressure became momentum.

Wishing everyone an inspiring new year.
I can’t wait to share what’s next.
